Asheville School of Classic Rock

The main goal of the Asheville School of Classic Rock is to prepare its Students for a career, of their choice, in the Music Industry. In our training, we focus on how Classic Rock Musicians used advancements in Music Theory to inspire other Rock Musicians and their production techniques.

We prepare our Students to create a "Pathway" for the necessary Education and Training skills to meet the requirements to apply for a position that optimizes their Skill Set... They will develop a level of confidence to help steer that Path to success.

To start, it is a prerequisite that a potential Student has an indepth understanding of Music Theory and Appreciation to attend our "Tuition-free" Program. We teach what we call advanced MT that deals with "Ear Training", giving them a more intuitive understanding of the Elements of Track.

At ASCR we will take our Students to the Next Level by applying those Fundamentals to the Real World of Rock Music... they will learn the valuable lessons that Classic Rock Musicians and Song Writers have adapted from basic Music Theory to create the Distinctive set of Characteristics of Rock Music.

Note: No Student Fails this (Tuition-free) Program as our Mentors will guide them until they make a decision to proceed on the Pathway they created or take a different Career Path.
