Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Woodstock Setlist Live

My Take:

Despite being pushed to a late-night slot due to the Grateful Dead's extended performance, CCR delivered a memorable Show that I would call as fierce and fiery, to say the least. John Fogerty, in great voice, with the Band delivering their Hits with Intensity and Energy. The Sound quality, while Rugged, aligned with the intended rawness of CCR's Music.

Right from the start, the Crowd was into it and Rockin'. Fogerty's Guitar playing, in particular, was unhinged... and their Band was so complimentary to each other and the Sounds flew and made your foot stomp. I liked “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising,” and "Green River" (Top 10) the best! I also loved the version of “Commotion” here, it sort, fit the setting. They also played some great deep tracks like, “Ninety-Nine And A Half (Won’t Do),” and “Bootleg.” They play all of this with great passion. I can’t believe anybody slept through the set like the Band before... Rock On ♪♪♪

I can watch or listen to CCR anywhere anytime, Mates

The Crowd Noise Factor was a 4 to 8.

CCR musical Bio

Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) was an influential American Rock Band formed in El Cerrito, California. The Band consisted of John Fogerty (Lead Vocalist and Guitarist), his Brother Tom Fogerty (Rhythm Guitarist), Stu Cook (Bassist), and Doug Clifford (Drummer). Initially, they were named the Blue Velvets, and later as the Golliwogs before adopting the name Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1967. Rght from the start, the Crowd was into it

CCR's music style included Roots rock, Swamp rock, Blues Rock, Southern Rock, and Country Rock, often featuring Themes related to the Southern United States, such as Bayous and the Mississippi River. Their Lyrics frequently addressed Political and Social issues, including the Vietnam War. The Band achieved significant success between 1969 and 1971, with 14 consecutive Top 10 singles and 5 Top 10 Albums in the United States.

Despite their success, CCR disbanded in late 1972, following internal Conflicts and the departure of Tom Fogerty in 1971. John Fogerty's disputes with the remaining Members and their Record label led to further Legal battles. The Band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993, but John refused to perform with Cook and Clifford at the ceremony.CCR's music remains popular, with their compilation album Chronicle: The 20 Greatest Hits still charting and certified Diamond in the U.S.. John Fogerty continues to perform CCR songs in his solo shows, while Cook and Clifford performed as Creedence Clearwater Revisited from 1995 to 2020.

CCR was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on January 12, 1993. The induction Ceremony took place at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles and marked the first time that inductees performed their own songs during the ceremony... rather than participating in all-star jams as had been customary in previous years. Bruce Springsteen inducted the band, but John Fogerty chose not to perform with his former Bandmates due to ongoing personal and legal disputes, instead playing with other Musicians. (It was not Cool)
